Reading and writing your phone book

With the state-of-the-art functionality of Cellular Essentials, you easily will be able to load the phone book of your cellular phone to your PC, modify it and write the latest version of your phone book back to your cellular phone in no time. The data transfer between your cellular phone and PC will be conducted either via a data cable or the infrared port of the PC. The phone book can also be exported to other Windows applications or imported from e.g. data banks. Different phone books of your mobile phone or on the hard disk of your PC can be synchronized, and furthermore, phone books of different handsets, e.g. 6210 and 3210 can be exchanged or synchronized, too.

Editing of extended phone book data
Assigning speed dials and caller groups

All extended data (available in handsets of the 62xx series and in the model 7110) like max. five numbers each entry, type of number (home, office, etc.), text strings for post address, e-mail address and notes can easily be edited with Cellular Essentials. It is very difficult to assign phone book entries to caller groups in your cellular phone. With Cellular Essentials it is just a mouse click: select the desired phone book entries, select the caller group from the menu, write the modified entries in the phone book of your cellular phone, done. Assigning speed dials is just as simple.

Internationalizing the phone book

If you have traveled abroad with your cellular phone, you have probably come across the following problem: your phone book entries do not have international codes (e.g. +49 for Germany) and therefore they are useless. The unique internationalization function of Cellular Essentials converts, if desired, the entire phone book, so that you can use it abroad without any restrictions. We have also paid attention to the readability of entries: many users make entries like "UNCLE FRED"; with a mouse click they can be changed to the easier reading "Uncle Fred".

Reading and sending SMS and picture messages

Sending a SMS message directly from your mobile phone is a particular difficult finger exercise. With Cellular Essentials, the sending of a SMS messages can be as easy and fast as sending an e-mail: type the message on the PC, select one or more addresses, or a list of recipients, press the "Send" button - done. All outgoing SMS messages read by Cellular Essentials are saved automatically on your PC. Thus you are always fully informed on your ingoing and outgoing short messages. Forwarding and replying a SMS message, as well as sending a business card are also integrated functions of Cellular Essentials.

Creating and editing individual logos

With the excellent logo editor you can create your own logos (operator logo, start-up logo, caller group logo) and save them on your Nokia® mobile phone.

Creating, editing and sending of picture messages or sending other logos via SMS are also integrated functions of Cellular Essentials.

Making voice calls via your PC

You can also initiate voice calls with your cellular phone directly from the PC keyboard. You can either select telephone numbers from the phone book or take any new number. You only need to pick up the cellular phone when the called party answers. A clear status display, which e.g. displays the length of the current call, guides you through all functions of Cellular Essentials.

Detailed information on your mobile phone

Cellular Essentials also gives you detailed information on your cellular phone; just a mouse click and you see all the relevant data of your mobile phone, your provider, as well as other details on your PC screen.
