Communication Ports

The iLCD Controllers are equipped with communication ports as follows:

• USB Port
• Serial Port for RS-232 (300 ... 115200 baud)
• Serial Port for RS-232, RS-422 or RS485 (300 ... 115200 baud)
• I2C Port (bit rate up to 400 kHz)
• SPI Port

The communication port can be changed in operation, the iLCD Controller always sends its response to the recently used port automatically.

Setting up the chips can be done via one of the two serial ports or via the USB port.
