Color iLCD Panel with 640x480 Pixels with 5.7"

The industry standard size of 5.7" is now also available with a resolution of 640x480 pixel and will replace the QVGA model DPP-CT3224-x in the long term. The DPP-CT6448 panel contains our fast 32-bit iLCD controller DPC3080 and supports VGA resolution on an active screen area of 112.9x84.7 mm.

Hence it offers the quadruple number of pixels over the DPP-CT3224-x iLCD panel with nearly the same outline dimensions of 126.5x100x11 mm (without mounting brackets). Normally, the DPP-CT6448 can be applied to devices developed for the DPP-CT3224-x without any mechanical or electrical modifications. To simply adapt existing applications, new commands for scaling of coordinates, fonts and graphics are available. 32 MByte flash memory for images, text strings, fonts and macros and 8 MByte RAM for multiple screen handling with simple commands recommends this iLCD panel to be used with any application. A microSD card holder is on board enabling you to further expand your memory for images and use specific use. The DPP-CT6448 iLCD can operate in portrait-mode as well.

The optional TCP/IP Interface allows networking of iLCDs and rapid download of application data. Therefore it is also recommended for accelerated development of stand-alone applications, which will be ultimately controlled by any other interface (USB, RS232, I²C or SPI).

The excellent TFT-display with a brightness of 350 cd/m² and a contrast of 500 shows your graphics either with full 16-bit color depth or with 8-bit (with 16-bit color palette created by the setup software automatically) color depth. As seen on all other iLCD panels, animated images (color GIF-images) can be displayed easily within minutes.

An evaluation kit with extra PCB with FFC connectors and flat-cables plus all other required cables including a power-supply and software on CD is available.
