Note
Demo
If you'd like
to have a closer look at the various Editions of ImageCopy, we have
special demo versions available for you. These demo versions merely
simulate the writing to the hard disk (after the corresponding message);
all other functions are available without any restrictions. Thus,
it is possible to generate any number of image files with the ImageCopy
Advanced Edition, which can also be restored after purchasing the
full version. Please note, however, that the files generated by
a demo version cannot be restored by an Advanced Edition "Recovery
Only" version.
Trial
Version
Apart from the
demo version, we also offer a free trial version (with all 3 versions),
which also allows you to generate a hard disk 3 times. Since this
diskette is copy-protected, we can only ship it to you by mail -
and not via a download. Please send us an e-mail
or a fax (our fax number is given here)
with your data (please do not forget: person to be contacted, address,
telephone and fax numbers) and we shall immediately ship you this
Trial Version free of cost. Naturally, you are welcome to contact
us by telephone as
well, we would be pleased to advise you personally.
Downloading
the Demo Versions
If you would
like to download the demo version of ImageCopy Standard Edition,
please click here
(about 411 KB).
If you wish
to test the ImageCopy Advanced Edition and Advanced Edition
Recovery Only (common file, see Note) click
here (about
616 KB), to get this demo version. The operating instructions of
the Advanced Edition (version 1.03, zipped WinWord 6.0 file which
can also be opened with Office 97) can be obtained here.
Both the demo
versions and the operating instructions are "zipped",
i.e. they should be expanded onto your hard disk with PKUNZIP
or WinZip. The contents of the respective files must be copied
to a normal (formatted) 1.44 MB diskette, and then the program can
be started from the diskette itself (input A: first) by simply typing
IMAGECPY. Should you wish to make the diskette bootable, then, in
DOS (or in a DOS Box of Windows 95, but not in Windows NT) enter
the command SYS A: - the command processor (COMMAND.COM) and other
necessary files will then be copied to the diskette. The respective
ImageCopy program will then be started automatically at the time
of booting. Please note that our programs cannot be run in a DOS
box of Windows NT since the necessary hard disk access is forbidden
by Windows NT.
Note
|
If you start the ImageCopy Advanced Edition with the command
line parameter /e (input: IMAGECPY /e), it (this edition) runs
in the "Recovery Only" mode. |
