demmel products, a specialist for intelligent HMI displays, is presenting a new generation of display solutions at this year's embedded world (April 9-11 in Nuremberg) that sets new standards with their cross-platform functionality and high scalability. The exhibits - from high-end LCDs to 'high-performance', intelligent Linux displays - are suitable for a wide range of demanding industrial applications, with display integration taking place in an innovative way. Full-service HMI solutions consisting of hardware, firmware, software and GUI development are also possible. This allows customers to concentrate more intensively on their core competencies.

The demands on HMIs are increasing and designers and developers are increasingly looking for partners who can cover individual needs as centrally as possible. "With the introduction of the iLCD Linux series and the market entry with pure, customizable LCD panels, we can act as such a partner," explains Clemens Salomon, commercial director of demmel products. Customers can choose from instant boot solutions with integrated microcontrollers, ready-to-run embedded Linux HMIs and classic TFT-LCDs. The various series are as mechanically compatible as possible, while the intelligent HMIs also enable cross-product functionality on the software side. This reduces redundancy in new projects, increases the scalability of applications and devices and makes them future-proof.

At this year's trade fair, demmel products will be showing high-end HMIs that not only offer outstanding image quality up to Full HD, but also feature elegant design and high-performance system on a module with optimal energy efficiency.

All series have been upgraded with super-bright, high-resolution IPS displays as standard. The intelligent Linux series - iLCD Linux - has been expanded to include the 10.1", 12.1" and 15.6" sizes. At the same time, in addition to the high-performance HMIs equipped with the i.MX8M+, an even more cost-efficient version with the i.MX93 is being launched. Elements such as display properties, cover glass, performance, interfaces, etc. can be customized to meet customer requirements. Requirements such as long-term availability and life cycle management are a matter of course, because these are essential not only for the customer, but also for the company. The majority of the LCDs and hardware that are recommended are also used internally for the intelligent displays. The principle of the internal customer is therefore not only pursued, but actually lived.
Last year, demmel products also successfully expanded its partner network. Danube Dynamics, an expert in the field of embedded software and AI/machine learning, was brought on board. Candera GmbH acts as a reliable partner for professional support in GUI design. By expanding the portfolio and network, full-service solutions in the HMI area can be implemented efficiently. This minimizes effort and risk for the customer.
