Performance Boost for Smart Displays
demmel products presents the new generation of its intelligent displays programmable in Java. As a technology leader in this market segment, the focus is on permanent further development. The result: more performance, more features.
The technology developed by demmel products enables "display computing" with an object-oriented high-level language without an operating system. This result in numerous competitive advantages such as shorter "time-to-market", lower development costs and a further reduction in components count. If the Java option isn’t used, an external MCU takes over the control. The new iLCD line runs Java programs up to 10 times faster than the existing products. The on-board peripherals like high speed USB, I2C, SPI and Ethernet interfaces as well as various IOs are fully supported under Java. This ensures accelerated development and makes complex low-level programming obsolete.
For the new generation IPS displays are used which impress with a large viewing angle, high resolution and brightness. By default, these iLCDs are supplied with capacitive touch panels.
Java on a Chip (JoC) – unique in the world!
Shown at the embedded world 2020 is a worldwide-unique design from demmel products: Java on a chip (JoC) - a mini-sized Java-programmable controller that has generated lively interest among experts since its introduction.
The Java-programmable controller module, occupying only an area of 24x36mm, is designed for a wide range of applications in smart systems. The highly integrated JoC can dramatically reduce development costs and time to market.
Experience the new high performance iLCD product line and the innovative JoC at embedded world 2020 in Nuremberg from February 25-27, 2020. We look forward to your visit at booth 371 in hall 1.
